Work in NL's information point in Venlo has all the information you need. This information is clear and reliable and available free of charge. You can get help in several languages, often from people who have been a newcomer to the Netherlands themselves. There is no need to make an appointment. Information points in North Limburg
There are around 53,000 EU migrant workers who live and work in the North Limburg region. Things usually go well, but sometimes extra help or information is needed. The people who work at the Work in NL information points are there to help. They provide advice and support regarding your rights and duties when it comes to matters such as housing, registering with the municipality and settling and integration.
They can put you in touch with the right organisations, too, if necessary.

Living in the Netherlands and registering
As an EU citizen, you have rights and duties. If you will be staying in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register with the municipality. You will then be a temporary resident. You also need to go along to the municipality to:
- Change your address, for example if you move home
- Get married
- Register a birth
- Apply for a driver's licence
- Report the theft of documents
- Register a death
